Branch Executive Director
Carl’s Y career started with the Southlake YMCA in Crown Point, IN in 2002. He worked there in many different roles; namely as the Wellness Director, Associate Executive Director and Hub Run Race Director. Prior to his Y career, Carl attended Indiana University where he received a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. Currently, Carl oversees all operations and provides direction for the Griffith Branch YMCA. He believes his primary role is to fill the needs of the community through quality programs and services. In an effort to further give back to the community, Carl was elected as the Griffith Chamber of Commerce President in January of 2013. He hopes to see the Griffith YMCA continue to grow and to be a staple in the community for years to come.
