Before & Afterschool Care

The Griffith Family YMCA runs Before and Afterschool Childcare for Griffith Public Schools. Our facilitators lead the children in structured activities each day including gym, art, outdoor play and games and also teach fun nutritional facts. The children’s afternoon also includes “free-time." The YMCA core values: Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility will be introduced during their stay. Check out the video about our program here.

Early Learning Center

Early Learning Center at the Griffith Family YMCA offers several day care and preschool program options to accommodate the needs of the child and their parents. All programs and classes are taught by degreed/licensed teachers to help your child reach his/her full potential academically and socially. We offer an academic curriculum that exceeds Indiana preschool standards and is designed to prepare your child for their entrance into kindergarten. Our preschool program provides the tools and activities for the children to experiment while promoting our four core values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our preschool is unique because we offer gym class each day in our program. For our preschool events for the children and families throughout the year, please contact our Early Learning Center Director. Registration for our 2017-18 school year is open now!
