Active Older Adults

Older adult wellness programming is one of the fastest growing areas especially in aquatics, fitness, and strength training. These programs will help older adults maintain independent healthy lifestyles. Our AOA programs (age 50 & older) will help you not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Come visit us and join in the fun!

Cardio Drumming

This unique class captures the essence of rhythm and movement combined with a creative and fun spirit that delivers results for both body and mind. Participants will use drumsticks and an exercise ball to keep time to the music while getting their body moving and feet stomping.

Functional Strength Balance & Flexibility

Strength, balance and flexibility are essential in maintaining a comfortable, independent life. This class will provide you with the tools necessary to improve your daily life in these areas including coordination, posture and range of motion.

Yoga

This class involves gentle movement, static positions and breathing to improve your posture, balance, strength and flexibility. Modifications will be offered to suit all fitness levels.

Adult Sports

Sports, fun and exploring new interests aren't just for the young. Along with improving health, whenever teamwork is involved, there's the added benefit of being connected to others. That's why you'll find a range of recreational activities at the Y. With something to offer everyone, there's no such thing as being too old to get in the game.

Men's Basketball

5 on 5 officiated basketball league featuring games played with two 20 minute halves in a round robin format. Must be at least 18 years of age. Can have up to 10 on a team. Single elimination tournament will finish the season. Make your Thursday nights basketball night!Holiday winners. 2017

Youth Sports

​Youth & Toddler Sports has a new look for 2018!
Our athletes will receive a brand new reversible jersey to use & keep for all their Y Sports...included with your program fees! Lose the jersey or want an extra? They will be available for purchase.

When kids play Y-Sports, they develop more than skills—they develop character. Instructors and coaches—often volunteers, including many parents—model fairness and hard work while emphasizing teamwork, cooperation, and developing good values in our non-competitive programs. Our volunteer coaches recognize achievements large and small and understand that winning is not just about the score. By playing sports, kids and their families feel a sense of belonging that comes from a community gathering together to cheer on their team. Everyone plays, everyone wins!

Basketball

Toddler & Youth Basketball

Both boys and girls are welcome to participate in the Y’s instructional basketball program. Game days will consist of ½ practice and ½ game. Fundamentals and good sportsmanship are stressed. Volunteer coaches are always needed.

Youth Indoor Soccer

Youth in grades K-6 are invited to join in the Y’s Youth Indoor Soccer Program. The program will teach players the fundamentals of soccer in a noncompetitive environment. Skills such as dribbling, shooting, defense, and team strategy will be introduced. Volunteer coaches are always needed.
